FIRST YEAR

There'll be 6 modules in the whole academic year. Modules are Foundation module, Musculoskeletal 1, Musculoskeletal 2, Blood & Immunity, Cardiovascular system, Respiration. There'll be 1 module test at the end of each module & usually there is 1 physiology test in each module. There'll be tests of biochemistry & substages or stage of anatomy. Besides the basic subjects, there'll be clinical subjects too like Gynaecology, Obstetrics, Radiology etc. These are only important for MCQs as MCQs come from these lectures in module.

Aspects of public health, social aspects of health, epidemiology, biostatistics and other community health concepts are integrated into the curriculum and are offered through PBL (Problem Based Learning), community visits, other small-group learning strategies, data collection and analysis. The students are introduced to bench research in Year 2.​
